As a stylist, I believe that in order to best serve each client individually you must view each client as a whole, taking into consideration their needs, individual lifestyle, and personality. Considering this information, in conjunction with face shape, skin tone, and hair texture help me best determine what I think as a professional will best suit their needs and help my clients feel most pleased with my work. ,/p>
My career began in my native England where I apprenticed under the prestigious Marc Ward at Crown Hairdressing. It was under his direction that I had the opportunity to train at the Vidal Sasson Academy and Tony and Guy of London. I quickly advanced to Creative Director in my nine years with Marc. I was in charge of training numerous stylists, oversaw the apprentice program, and worked directly on our in-salon photography and fashion work for our city wide marketing projects. The hair cutting and coloring techniques that I studied during this time have been the basis for my extensive career in the beauty industry.,/p>
I next moved to my beloved adoptive home of San Francisco and settled into ten years at Dava Dava on Union Street where I continued my education with Paul Mitchell, Schwartzkopf, Unite Eurotherapy and Bumble and Bumble. Here I began to build a loyal and diverse local clientle. I excell at both women's and men's cuts as well as the full range of color services. My work has been described as classic and updated to edgy and fashion forward.
I was really excited to join the Decend Salon family and have continued to grow both personally and professionally due to my ongoing training and the fact that I work among some of the best stylists in San Francisco. We share ideas and techniques, encourage each other and work together to ensure the satisfaction of our clientle.
Check me out! It's always great to meet new clients and execute the look that helps them feel great about themselves.
